Excellent map, ith very good terrain references. It clearly shows what the CCC actually was able to accomplish of the Master Plan before the war ended that program. By 1942, many CCC boys were back in uniform - on Guadalcanal... and elsewhere all around the globe!
Richard, it's great to find your blog. I live just north of the Heard Scout Pueblo and am interested in the history of the area. I wrote most of the content for the Wikipedia page on South Phoenix.
